Chalet Silver Fox is a magnificent log cabin completely renovated (with in-ground outdoor pool heated from June to September). It is located within the prestigious Fiddler Lake Resort, just outside of Morin Heights, in the Saint-Sauveur Valley. Ideal for groups of up to 12 people, the chalet sits on the domain’s largest private wooded lot, with an area of over 200,000 sq.ft. Sheltered from neighbours and prying eyes, you will be sure to find peace and privacy and fully enjoy your vacation! Experience total relaxation with the ideal trio: hot tub, cold shower and outdoor dry sauna. A pool table, indoor and outdoor wood-burning fireplaces are also included.

This very spacious chalet has 4 bedrooms and 2 living rooms, 3 full bathrooms and 1 powder room. It can easily accommodate 12 adults. The kitchen is equipped with stainless steel appliances, including a dishwasher and microwave. A satellite TV, High-Speed Internet (Starlink), washer and dryer are also provided. The Chalet Silver Fox has radiant floors at garden level, electric baseboard heating upstairs, as well as air exchanger and air conditioning for your comfort. It is protected by an alarm system connected to the central and a camera system at the entrance.

Chalet Silver Fox is the perfect location for receptions (weddings, birthdays, etc.) and corporate events. Our current maximum capacity is 48 people split between 4 cottages (Chalet Silver Fox – 12 persons + Chalet White Wolf – 12 persons + Chalet Blue Jay – 12 persons, + Chalet Red Deer – 12 persons… just steps away from each other!). Booking Policy

Base rate and additional fees:
1. The base rate is for 4 people or less (additional fee of $50 per night per add person in low season or $100 per night per add person in high season).
2. A cleaning fee of $200 applies for all rentals.
3. We accept pets (maximum of 2 pets per rental) but an additional fee of $ 100 per pet applies for the hypoallergenic cleaning upon departure.
Minimum stay:
1. A minimum of 2 nights applies at all times.
2. We do not accept daily rentals.
Weekends:
1. Weekend rentals are usually from Friday to Sunday (or Thursday to Sunday or Friday to Monday).
2. No arrivals or departures are allowed on Saturdays.
Number of persons:
1. Customers agree to respect the number of persons mentioned in the rental agreement.
2. Strict monitoring of the number of occupants is applied onsite. A penalty of $150 per night will be deducted from the security deposit for anyone not declared on the rental agreement.
Payment formalities:
1. A 50% reservation deposit by credit card is required when booking on our website in order to block the dates in the rental calendar and secure your reservation.
2. The balance payment is due 15 days before your arrival date, either by e-Interac transfer (no fee) or by credit card (4% admin fee).
3. A reimbursable security deposit of $ 2 000 will be temporarily frozen on your credit card 48hr before your arrival date and released on your credit card within 24hr/48hr of your departure, if no damage is found and the cottage is returned to the same condition as on arrival.
Other applicable fees:
1. A 4% admin fee applies to payments by credit card.
2. A bank fee of $ 60 applies for international bank transfers.
Arrival and departure times for Chalet Silver Fox:
1. Check-in is after 4pm.
2. Check-out is at 11am.

Cottage rules

Please note the cottage rules that apply to all participants:

1. It is strictly forbidden to smoke inside the cottage at all times. Smoking outside is allowed (a penalty of $1000 applies in the event of non-compliance with this rule);

2. For security reason but also to respect the serenity of the neighborhood and to preserve our sanitary installations, we expect the renters to respect the number of persons specified in the rental agreement at all times;

3. The Fiddler Lake Resort is a recreational site where tranquility is king. The use of RVs, ATVs, skidoos, motocycles and other motocross is strictly prohibited onsite. However, you can bring your ATV, skidoo or moto on a plateform to use it outside the domain (a penalty of $500 applies in the event of non-compliance with this rule);

4. For obvious security reasons, the use of fireworks is strictly forbidden at all times (a penalty of $1000 applies in the event of non-compliance with this rule);

5. No excessive sound is allowed outside the cottage or on the deck after 10pm (a penalty of $500 applies in the event of non-compliance with this rule);

6. The Lake Fiddler is an ecological lake where motor boats are forbidden. In order to avoid the blue algae (or other parasite) contamination from other lakes, we ask you to only use the boats provided to you and not to bring your own;

7. Outdoor fires are only allowed in the covered firepit (a penalty of $1000 applies in the event of non-compliance with this rule);

8. The use of tents, RVs or any other camping installation is strictly forbidden onsite;

9. We are not responsible for any accident in the cottage, in the hot tub, at the swimming pool, around the cottage or at the lake;

10. Any subrental is totally forbidden;

11. Guests are expected to prevent excessive noise after 10pm;

By booking directly on our website or through any partner platform, you are deemed to have read and agreed to comply with these rules, as well as all the other participants of your group. In case of non respect by the guests of any of those rules, we will not hesitate to retain the whole security deposit.

Go cycling on the linear park Le P'tit Train du Nord
Between Bois-des-Filion and Mont-Laurier, this well-known bike path follows an old railway line for 232 km. An ideal route to learn about cycle tourism with multiple possible stops in the villages. Luggage transport and shuttle offered.
Hiking at Mount Kaaïkop
In the Algonquin language, Kaaïkop means “bare, rocky, steep and high”. Formerly called Mount Legault, Mount Kaaïkop, at an altitude of 838 meters, is the third highest peak in the Laurentians. The grand tour offers a loop punctuated by splendid views of the other peaks in the region, including Montagne Noire and Mont Tremblant. We cross a dense forest of conifers before reaching its summit.

A classic for fall colors. The Grand Brûlé trail is a long climb punctuated by waterfalls, a beaver dam and several viewpoints over the village and Lake Tremblant. At the top, the most tired can take the gondola ($) or take one of the other trails that go down (Les Caps, 5 km, or the Vertigo, 6 km) or simply turn around. Parking fees at the Versant Sud Resort to be expected.

Hiking: The Great Valleys - Mont-Tremblant National Park (L'Assomption sector)
A round trip of less than 5 km with a rather modest elevation gain in a much less frequented sector of the park, what more could you ask for? From the belvedere, the panorama reveals an admirable view of the surrounding valleys. The ascent is made through a mature maple grove and the most attentive will note the presence of hemlocks, a rather rare species in this park. Starting point: Lac-de-L’Assomption picnic area, 15 km north of the L’Assomption information kiosk.

Treetop Hike
Our Treetop walk at Sentier des cimes Laurentides is a new truly unique way to take in scenic views from above the trees. You will start the walk along a path that winds through the forest and up to the treetops. The nearly one-kilometre path leads to the observation tower that rises 40 m (equivalent to a 12-storey building) above the forest to offer a stunning bird’s eye view of the Laurentian forests and mountains. The walk ways and main tower, with a maximum slope of 6 degrees, are completely accessible to strollers and wheelchairs. From the top, you’ll have a breathtaking view of the rolling hills typical of the Laurentian mountain range, and landmarks such as Mont-Tremblant. The total distance including the tower walk is 2.7km round trip and takes about 2 hours.

Nous avons loué ce magnifique chalet pour 5 nuits. Le chalet est très propre, grand et entouré d'une belle nature. Les lits sont confortables. Nous avons profité de la piscine privée, du sauna et du bain tourbillon qui sont bien entretenus. En soirée, les enfants ont bien apprécié les guimauves autour du feu. C'est bien de pouvoir transformer la table pour manger en table de billard.

We were a group of 16 people who rented 2 chalets from Nicolas. Both were ideal spaces for group entertaining and everyone was super comfortable. Il s'agit pour nous de notre 3e réservation, avec les chalets Zenya. Du White Wolf, au Blue Jay, et le dernier, soit le Silver Fox, tous les chalets sont impeccables. Le Silver Fox se situe plus dans une petite vallée, plus à l'abris, plus loin de la rue, donc assez tranquille. La vue est magnifique. Le chalet comprend toutes les commodités nécessaires, il ne manque de rien. Que de mieux de prendre son café le matin et voir les oiseaux dans la mangeoire devant. Et on ne peut souligner le professionnalisme hors pair de Nicolas, le propriétaire. Nous rêvons déjà d'y retourner en février 2024.

Une maison en rondins dans les bois avec 30 cm de neige fraîchement tombée ! Entouré d'arbres dans un secteur très paisible et privé, il n'était qu'à 10 minutes de Morin Heights. C'était à couper le souffle. Grande maison très confortable avec tout le confort moderne. Cuisine joliment aménagée avec grand espace de rassemblement. J'étais sceptique quant à la table de billard/table à manger mais cela fonctionne bien. Nous étions 6 adultes plus un petit-enfant et avions plus qu'assez de place. L'espace est si bien organisé, avec une salle de télévision séparée et un beau salon avec cheminée. Le bain à remous et le sauna étaient bien entretenus et une grande cheminée extérieure avec de grandes chaises Adirondack a rendu notre séjour un délice. La seule amélioration que je suggérerais est le wifi qui ne fonctionne pas très bien dans la salle de télévision. Assurez-vous également de lire les petits caractères et d'apporter votre shampoing et votre savon pour les douches. A part ça, pure détente. Je louerais certainement à nouveau, comme le feraient tous les membres de ma famille.

Nous avons eu le bonheur d'y rester et je dois dire que notre expérience fût impeccable du début à la fin. This was the perfect property for a girls’ weekend! We found it so relaxing that we ended up not leaving the cottage for 3 days, other than to get food. Everything was clean and ready for our arrival. And every step from booking, pre-arrival question, through check-in, and departure went smoothly. A notre arrivée, tout était propre. Le chalet se trouve dans un domaine privé avec plusieurs chalets mais pas collés les uns contre les autres. Durant notre séjour, on a eu une panne d’électricité pour plusieurs heures (temperature orageuse) mais le propriétaires (Nicolas) est venu nous voir pour s’assurer de notre confort, ce qui est très bien. We were in need of some relaxation away from work and booked The Silver Fox for a week with another couple. I was very impressed with how clean and comfortable it was. The cottage had everything we needed to cook great meals, hot tub and sauna to relax and lots of room to escape to read. Loved the added touches like the internal speakers, milk frother, etc. Didn't want to leave and am already looking to go back hopefully when I can enjoy the pool. Also, communication with Nicolas was informative and quick to respond.

Six d'entre nous avons séjourné au Chalet Silver Fox pendant une semaine et c'était tout simplement parfait. C'est un espace merveilleux pour se divertir, se détendre et profiter du plein air hivernal. La propriété est bien entretenue - le déneigement a été effectué après chaque chute de neige pour s'assurer que nous avions accès à nos véhicules et aux installations du spa et du sauna. Il est amplement équipé (en particulier la cuisine) pour presque tout ce dont vous pourriez avoir besoin pendant votre absence. Mon groupe discute déjà de notre prochain séjour.

Nous avons loué cette cabane pour vraiment profiter d'un long week-end à la fin de l'été avec quelques amis et cela n'a pas du tout déçu. La cabine est entièrement meublée et très confortable avec toutes les commodités dont nous pourrions avoir besoin (même une table de billard). Nous avons bien profité de la piscine chauffée qui était très agréable avec les températures en baisse en septembre. Une marche de 10 minutes jusqu'au lac a révélé une vue très isolée et pittoresque avec un canoë qui nous attendait. La nuit, nous nous sommes assis autour du feu.
Dans l'ensemble, quelques jours formidables. Le propriétaire était extrêmement réactif et attentionné. J'ai hâte d'y retourner.

We rented this private cottage for the first time as we usually go through the resort directly. The fact that they allowed our little dog was very appealing to us. The chalet was amazing and although we have stayed in this model numerous times, this one was by far the nicest layout. The grounds were stunning and the interior was impeccably clean and so well equipped with everything you could think of! Very easy and great dealing with Nicolas as well... thank you Nicolas for making our first "post covid family get together" so great!

Lovely stay at Chalet Silver fox - the cottage is beautiful and well appointed, furnished tastefully and stocked with an abundance of games, kitchenware and comfortable seating. The pool was warm and clean and great fun for our two tween/teen kids. Sauna was great, didn’t use the hot tub and lovely fire pit area. I would recommend however I am too scared it will be fully booked when we want to make our next booking!!

We discovered Silver Fox chalet in summer of 2020 and decided to book a few dates in 2021. This property is beautiful inside and out. This is a log cottage which it makes it unique. The decor is modern yet carefully curated. It has a beautiful pool, a barrel sauna and spa. The cottage is surrounded by nature and it's ultra peaceful. It's only 1 hour drive from Montreal. Highly recommend this cottage, if you can find availability, since it books so fast :)

We needed a getaway as a couple for a few days, and we are so happy we booked Silver Fox! Neither of us have ever had such a relaxing break. The chalet was impeccable and the owners were fantastic to deal with. The chalet was well stocked with everything we could imagine, and we had a great time relaxing in the hot tub and playing pool. This is a beautiful ?cottage? nestled on private, wooded grounds within a gated resort. This log cottage is spectacular with honey-coloured huge logs, two storey windows, tastefully decorated and sunny, comfortable rooms. We enjoyed fires in the natural stone fireplace with our favourite music playing on their surround sound system. Loved the hot tub and especially the sauna. We would definitely stay here again.

Best 5 days stay! It was our second stay with Zenya Chalet, and we were not disappointed. We enjoyed every day being there, taking hot tub 2-3 times per day. Sauna is perfect for a cold nights too. Cottage is very clean and big, kitchen well uquiped (you can find anything, anything you might think of). Thanks for Nespresso machine, we enjoyed it too. Lots of rooms for a family of five, plenty of space to play with 3yo girl. Internet is not the best, but was enough for me to work and kids to take zoom classes. Thank you to let us being there, it was a pleasure, and we want to come back there during summer, and give try that spacious pool.

We had an enjoyable weekend. The chalet was clean and well equipped. The only problem that we had was that the tv controllers didn't work properly, so we couldn't access Netflix or any other services.
I would also recommend that in extreme cold weather, as we had, that the thermostats be left at 20 degrees, as it took until the next day to warm up.

My family stayed in the Silver Fox chalet for a long weekend and we wished we were staying longer! The chalet was in immaculate condition, and beautifully decorated. It was a stunning log cabin on a large lot where you could only see forest, no other chalets. We enjoyed the spa, sauna, and the kids loved the pool table! Very comfortable beds, a well stocked kitchen and bathroom for each bedroom made it a luxurious staycation. A really special place to stay, and the Chalet Zenya team were very welcoming and responsive to my questions. We are already planning a return trip!

Nous avons séjourné pour 4 nuits au chalet Zenya au lac Fiddler en septembre 2020. Chalet de toute beauté situé sur un site enchanteur. Nous souhaitons retourner dans un futur proche. L'administration est cordialement chaleureuse et d' arrangement . Merci à vous tous .

Superbe chalet qui porte bien son nom! Très bien équipé, environnement calme et vue magnifique! Tout est là! Quel beau séjour avec ses balades en kayak sur le lac, ses promenades autour, ses apéros sur la grande terrasse, ses soirées auprès du feu, ses relaxations dans le spa à admirer les étoiles avant de retrouver un lit confortable dans un décor épuré! J'hésite à le recommander puisque... je préférerais le garder juste pour nous!;)

Magnifique chalet, dans un environnement calme et privé, sans voisin visible. Arrivée facile. Le décor est très chaleureux et tout est en très bon état. Le chalet est très bien équipé, tant dans la cuisine que pour les loisirs ou la détente. Plusieurs jeux de société (dont certains vintages!), table de pool, spa, sauna... Plusieurs attraits à proximité pour les amoureux de la nature. Nous recommandons sans hésitation et nous allons définitivement y retourner !

Fantastic chalet! All correspondence with Nicolas was excellent- he was very accommodating, prompt to respond and professional. The chalet was very comfortable-very comfortable beds. Kitchen was very well equipped. Hot tub and sauna were both great-very clean!!! The chalet is very private which was great for our getaway! Had a very relaxing holiday.

Magnificent chalet, in a quiet and private environment, with no visible neighbor. Easy arrival. The decor is very warm and everything is in very good condition. The chalet is very well equipped, both in the kitchen and for recreation or relaxation. Several board games (some vintage!), Pool table, spa, sauna ... Several nearby attractions for nature lovers. We recommend without hesitation and will definitely be going back!

Nous avons passé de superbes moments en famille. Quel bonheur d'entendre les éclats de rire des enfants dans la piscine et de manger des guimauves autour du feu! Ce chalet est assez spacieux pour, à la fois se réunir autour d'un bon repas et permettre à tous d'avoir son intimité. Nous y retourneront, c'est certain.

Depuis deux ans, nous avons pris l'habitude de louer des chalets un peu partout au Québec une dizaine de fois par année pour des séjours de 2 à 7 nuits. On connait bien le marché maintenant. Chez le même locateur, on a également vécu un séjour mémorable à la Villa Bianca en 2019. Chez eux, ce n'est pas juste les 4 étoiles de la CITQ, il y a un petit plus, un état d'esprit qui donne envie de revenir. Pour nous, ce locateur fait partie de l'élite des locateurs avec lesquels on a transigé. Nous étions vraiment bien et heureux au Silver Fox. On a tout aimé, le terrain bien aménagé, l'intérieur du chalet et l'environnement calme du secteur. On a visité un peu la région mais on a surtout passé du temps de qualité au chalet en compagnie de nos chiens. On a cuisiné et passé des bons moments. Je tenais à souligner la qualité de l'accueil et l'aide pendant notre séjour. La propreté et l'état des lieux étaient sans reproche. La nature enveloppe le chalet. On a observé un chevreuil de près et plusieurs oiseaux.

Le chalet est tout simplement magnifique ! Dès notre arrivée, toute la famille a été conquise : style traditionnel du chalet, décoration et aménagement soigné, belles attentions à tous les petits détails, équipements et ameublement et même les communications avec Nicolas, son propriétaire qui a été très accommodant, bref, tout était vraiment parfait ! C'est le chalet rêvé !!!
La piscine attenante au chalet a été un must pour l'invitation au repos et à la détente des petits comme des plus grands ! Nous allons revenir assurément très bientôt pour un séjour cet hiver... ;-)

WOW! Quel beau chalet, nous y avons passé un Noël merveilleux, que de beau souvenir. Les lits étaient confortables, la cuisine parfaite pour cuisiner, très propre et fonctionnelle, pas de chicane pour une salle de bain, coin tranquille et magnifique. Spa et sauna en hiver c'est vraiment super. J'ai eu un petit problème, mais régler très rapidement. Merci pour le beau séjour

Notre séjour pendant la Semaine de relâche 2020 au Chalet Silver Fox a été superbe! Le chalet est magnifique et chaleureux, l’emplacement est parfait (pas loin de Morin Heights et St Sauveur). Mes enfants ont adoré le terrain entouré par la forêt. Très belle expérience à répéter!

Endroit merveilleux, chaleureux ou on se sent chez soi rapidement. Nous étions 7 adultes d'une même famille pour une réunion familial et le chalet a rendu notre expérience concluante. Nous avons maintenant réservé 2 fois avec le groupe Zénya et nous sommes toujours satisfait de l'accueil, du suivi, de l'entretien des lieux.
Les chalets sont magnifiques et permet de vivre de beaux moments entouré de nature dans un endroit ou l'on se sent comme à la maison.

Silver Fox chalet is a beautiful accommodation for a group of people. There is plenty of living and sleeping space. The chalet has an abundance of natural light, is secluded with access to a hot tub, dry sauna and a pool (in the summer). The chalet is fully equipped with the necessary amenities.
Working with the owners to book the chalet was seamless and easy. Check in and check out were simple. I highly recommend this place for a summer or winter getaway with a group!

Le plancher chauffant et la décoration, en harmonie avec le type de construction rendent ce lieu accueillant. La fenestration est un plus. Un guide pour le chauffage au rez-chaussée aurait aidé pour la température de la salle de séjour, le matin. Nous étions 7 adultes et 3 enfants donc bien utile 2 pièces distinctes: le salon et la salle de séjour avec ses portes françaises. Les lits étaient confortables. Nous aurions grandement apprécié un 2e réfrigérateur pour notre bouffe, l'extérieur a été notre dépanneur. Petits détails, un plat à vaisselle et une tasse en pyrex de 2 litres auraient été utiles. On a cherché en vain une prise électrique extérieure pour l'auto. On suggère fortement l'installation d'une borne de recharge pour auto électrique. Merci

Merci Denis pour votre message et vos recommandations! Notre équipe évalue justement en ce moment l'ajout de bornes électriques dans tous nos chalets. Cela devrait probablement voir le jour d'ici quelques mois, si tout se passe comme prévu.
Concernant le rond de poêle non fonctionnel (sur 5 disponibles), nous sommes au courant de la situation et nous allons remplacer le poêle au complet dans les prochaines semaines. Les plinthes électriques du solarium fonctionnent correctement, le breaker était juste à off. Nous nous assurerons aussi de mettre la télécommande du ventilateur dans un endroit plus visible.

Tellement luxueux, toutes les caractéristiques et les détails sont tels que décrits et haut de gamme...
Nous étions 8 adultes pour une fête surprise du 40e anniversaire et nous avons été très satisfaits de notre séjour...
Notre hôte a été très rapide pour répondre aux questions et a rendu l'expérience inoubliable...
La propriété est exceptionnellement bien entretenue, le bain à remous et le sauna étaient impeccables, et la cuisine avait tous les accessoires que l'on pouvait demander ... (09 ) Nous reviendrons certainement et recommanderions à tout le monde!

Silver Fox is a gorgeous cottage that perfectly suited our groups' needs. It is clean, spacious, and well layed-out. The beds and bedrooms are cozy and the kitchen is well stocked. Having 3.5 bathrooms was also a big bonus for our group. There was also 10cm plus of snow that fell overnight Saturday into Sunday and the driveway and roads to the resort were all plowed by 11am check-out time. The owner was friendly and quick to respond to emails.
Our only complaint from the weekend is that the hot tub was not hot enough. Granted, it was extremely cold during our stay (-25C); but that hasn't been a problem for other hot tubs in my experience. The hot tub was #1 on our priority list, so that's why it's a complaint. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay very very much and would recommend Silver Fox!

Nous avons passer un super moment dans ce chalet, nous avons manqué de rien, tout ce que l'on a besoin est a portée de mains! La cuisine est très bien équipé pour se faire des gros souper (méga festin) puis, avec le spa et le sauna sec extérieur, c'est parfait pour se détendre en hiver! Cest grand ,luxueux et la table pour 12 personne se transforme en table de billard format standard Tout pour avoir du fun Tout ce qu'on peu faire comme activités aux alentours est bien indiqué dans un cartable a l'entrée du chalet, ainsi que tout les trucs necéssaires a l'entretin de ce dernier, le code wifi et toute les autres comodité y sont aussi indiqué! Paix et tranquilitée sont au rendez-vous dans ce coin magnifique! Voilà

Nous sommes encore sur un petit nuage de notre séjour au chalet Silver Fox où nous avons passé Noël en famille... Sapin de noël, grande cheminée, sauna, spa, billard, jeux de société, chocolat chaud, ambiance hygge garantie, tout était parfait !!
Le chalet est vraiment bien situé, près de Morin Heights et plus loin St Sauveur. Au sein du Fiddler lake resort, le chalet est assez éloigné des autres chalets, on se sent isolé.
Nicolas, notre hôte, a toujours été très réactif à nos diverses questions... Même si tout est très bien expliqué dans le guide laissé dans la cuisine et que Nicolas nous a fait parvenir avant notre arrivée.
Bref, c'est une adresse que nous recommandons fortement et nous y reviendrons sans problème !

Amazing chalet in an safe gated community! Although there were many other chalets, we surprisingly had a lot of privacy with all of the trees. It felt like we were alone in the forest :) We loved the short walk to the lake. The beds were so comfortable and the quality of the bed linens were excellent! We had everything we needed. If I had to find something wrong with the chalet... it was that the oven took a very long time to heat up, and only one element on the stove was hot enough to boil a big pot of water. That being said, the kitchen was stocked with everything we could ever need. Our favourite part of the chalet was that the room with the TV was separate from the bedrooms, so it did not disrupt the people who wanted to sleep-in late! We will definitely be returning to the chalet Silver Fox!

So much that we decided to come back for our annual fall visit to the Laurentian. Nous avons eu un merveilleux séjour entre amis dans ce chalet. La cuisine est conviviale, le salon est grandiose avec le haut plafond en voute, la table de pool qui sert a la fois de table à dîner permet de partager de beaux moments entre amis et le spa de relaxer en pleine nature. Que de beaux moments passés dans ce chalet, je le recommande fortement !

Had an absolutely wonderful time at the Chalet. We are from the US and I was appreciative that all of the instructions were in English and in French.
Pros: cottage was very clean, well decorated, and beautiful.
Cons: We came in June and the weather was really cold. June is not summer in Montreal - a note for those that live in the US. Also, we rented the cottage for the pool, but the pool was too cold to use. We were told it was heated, but it still wasn't adequate. Last note, there are a lot of black flies and mosquitos. Wouldn't recommend coming in June for that (also possibly not July either). The black flies were swarming and the mosquitos were out day and night. Both insects bite and were terrible. We couldn't really go outside much. There is a bug spray you can use but it has high levels of Deet so we decided not to use it and just stay indoors.

Thanks for your message! We had indeed a very long winter this year and Spring was not as sunny as it usually is (bad luck). We however heat the pool and keep it at a stable temperature of 85F during the whole season. For ecological reasons, we do not want to overheat it and convert it into a giant spa (you have the hot tub with is heated at 100F-105F).
Regarding mosquitoes and black flies, the use of repellent is one option (Watkins is by far the most efficient brand up North), even if we agree that it contains high DEET level. We recently installed bat houses next to all our cottages to help to naturally regulate the population of flying insects (each bat eats its weight of insect every day...). Another option is to drink tonic water (such as Canada Dry) which contains quinine, an ingredient that naturally repulses mosquitoes.

Quel magnifique séjour ( du 17 au 20 mai 2019 )nous avons passé dans ce superbe chalet . A part la température ..... tout était parfait !
Très beau chalet de bois rond au milieu d’un immense terrain très privé , piscine , spa et sauna nous ont permis de profiter de la beauté de cette nature .
Tout y était incroyablement propre et confortable et de belle qualité ... literie , matelas surtout !
Nous y étions 10 adultes et les nombreux détails comme les 2 salons et la superbe cuisine toute rénovée ont fait que nous y étions très à l’aise . Bravo aux propriétaires qui ont fait du beau travail et nous avons tous hâte de pouvoir y retourner .

This log chalet is beautiful and very well kept, it gives you a joyous feeling as you enter, and that feeling remains throughout the stay and after. The service was excellent, such as prompt snow removal and responses to questions that came up during the stay, which was from Mar 8 to 12. And the chalet is located close to a lot of outdoor activities, such as cross-country skiing, alpine skiing and tubing which we thoroughly enjoyed. Great memories.

Nous revenons d'un magnifique week-end (15 au 18 février 2019) au chalet Silver Fox.
Nous étions 7 adultes et une petite fille de 2 ans et demi et tout était parfait au niveau de l'espace et des commodités.
Le chalet est très bien situé (entouré d'arbre) ce qui fait qu'à l'extérieur nous nous sentons seul au monde.
Nous avons profités pleinement de toutes les commodités sur place. Le SPA, le sauna, la table de billard et le foyer.
Je recommanderai ce chalet, aussi bien à une famille qu'à un groupe d'amis. Dans les deux cas il est possible d'avoir un maximum de plaisir.
Je terminerai en disant qu'il est fort possible que nous y retournions.

Nous avons séjourné 4 jours dans ce magnifique chalet durant le vacances des fêtes. Nous étions 9 personnes et le chalet convenait parfaitement pour la taille de notre groupe. Avec la table de billard, le foyer intérieur et extérieur, le spa et le sauna, nous n'avons pas vu le temps passer.
Nous avons aussi été skier et faire de la glissade sur tube à St-Sauveur qui est tout près. Définitivement une expérience à refaire!

Nous avons eu un séjour de 5 nuits. Il s'agit d'un chalet spacieux pouvant accommoder jusqu'à 10 personnes. Un chalet à la fois moderne et rustique. Tous ce nous avions besoins était sur place. Très propre! Le spa était plaisant et le BBQ fonctionne bien en hiver!
Le wifi est lent, mais fonctionnel. Apportez votre bois d'allumage :)

Le congé de Noël 2018 fut un rêve devenu réalité. La famille s’est réunit dans ce merveilleux chalet.
Quelle classe.... toit cathédrale, foyer, toutes les commodités modernes, salle de billards et chambres spacieuses avec salles de bain.
Paysage fantastque, sauna et spa extérieurs, le tout pour agrémenter notre séjour. Un souvenir qui restera gravé dans notre mémoire

Nous avons organisé un week-end en famille pour les 30 ans de ma conjointe. Nous étions 9 et le chalet Silver Fox était l'endroit idéal pour l'occasion. Non seulement le grand terrain privé nous a offert beaucoup d'intimité, mais l'intérieur était spacieux. Avec la combinaison sauna, spa et table de billard, il était difficile de s'ennuyer. La grande cuisine et salle à manger a également été un bel endroit pour se rassembler et jouer à des jeux grâce aux multiples tabourets disponibles. On remarque rapidement que le chalet a récemment été construit, qu'il est bien entretenu, mais aussi qu'il est fabriqué avec des matériaux de qualité. La propreté était aussi au rendez-vous.
Le seul bémol c'est qu'il aurait été pratique d'avoir le guide du chalet AVANT la visite afin de consulter les «règlements». De plus, certaines clauses concernant le WiFi et le bois d'allumage ne s'appliquaient pas à notre forfait donc c'était mélangeant. La bonne nouvelle c'est qu'on a reçu un service à la clientèle impeccable. Dès qu'on avait une question, Nicolas était disponible pour nous répondre. Nous avons tellement aimé l'expérience qu'on songe à réserver à nouveau l'année prochaine pendant la période des Fêtes.

C'est un superbe chalet, très bien équipé, spacieux... parfait pour un weekend entre amis. L'hôte est vraiment très gentil et à l'écoute de nos besoins. Tout ça a fait en sorte que nous avons passé un weekend inoubliable. Merci!

Très beau Séjour en famille.
Nous avons reçu la premiere neige de l'année (25cm).
Dès le lendemain,une équipe de déneigement était présente pour s'assurer que les voix étaient libres. Très beau chalet , spacieux et bien organisé.
Il ne manquait de rien, je suggére peux être un frigidaire supplémentaires....

Nous avons réalisé un séminaire de 3 jours dans ce chalet ( 6 personnes ).
J'ai beaucoup apprécié l'ambiance chaleureuse, le confort, l'aménagement du chalet et la qualité des matériaux utilisés.
Je rajouterai une propreté irréprochable.
On étant un peu "tatillon" je suggérerai simplement de revoir l'intensité de l'éclairage qui est assez faible.

Nous avons passé une fin de semaine de l'action de grace très agréable au Chalet Silver Fox. Le chalet offrait tout le confort nécessaire; l'ambiance et le décor étaient très chaleureux, le moment était idéal pour observer le changement de couleur. Toute les conditions étaient réunie pour passer du bon temps en famille! Une expérience à revivre!

Un véritable chalet de rêve qu'est le Silver Fox. Nos hôtes étaient très cordiaux et à l'écoute de nos questions. Nous y avons passé un magnifique weekend pour souligner les 40 ans de mon mari. En plus d'être situé sur un site enchanteur où la nature est à l'honneur, le chalet est parfaitement aménagé. Les lits sont très confortables et salles de bains attenantes très pratiques. Nous avons prit grand plaisir à mitonner dans la magnifique et bien équipée cuisine. J'espère avoir l'occasion d'y retourner pour plus longtemps. Je recommanderai ce magnifique lieu de ressourcement à tous!

Merveilleux séjour à l'été 2018.
Nous étions en famille, 4 adultes, 3 enfants et cet endroit est non seulement extraordinairement beau, mais il est aussi très confortable!
J'y retournerai assurément. Je le recommande sans aucun doute et le propriétaire est très présent si vous avez besoin de lui parler.

Merveilleux séjour. Tout est parfait. Design des pièces, des meubles, ustensiles, chauffage, clim' etc. Nicolas est un hôte charmant qui a su être très réactif et disponible .
Le seul petit hic a été les mouches noires pour lequel personne n'y peut rien et l'accès au lac un peu difficile pour mes parents de 75 ans.
Je recommande chaudement cette location et son hôte.

Beau chalet, bien équipé, service fantastique! Le chalet était confortable et bien décoré mais aussi très propre et avec le sauna, le bain tourbillon et la table de pool, il y avait plein de choses à faire pour relaxer. Un séjour exceptionnel!!! Un chalet de rêve localisé en pleine tranquillité. Très bien équipé avec beaucoup d'attention au détail. Imaginez jouer une partie de billard (ou plusieurs) avec une vue splendide de la nature. Une aménagement parfaite pour accommoder des groupes de tailles différentes. Un retour définitif est garanti... même nécessaire :)
